About Us

“LIUMANGKUAIJI” (留芒会计）was registered as a sole-proprietor business in late 2011 by Tan Guo Hui, who at that time was completing the final papers in ACCA. He is now a CA, Singapore who has more than a decade of working experience in the accounting field across various industries. He was last working as an Accounting and Analysis Manager with a pharmaceutical company, before deciding to fully focus on the business “LIUMANGKUAIJI” (留芒会计） was setup with the conviction in striving to be a completely different accounting firm in the industry, to be Christ-centred and Christ-focused, not just a business generating mechanism.

Origin

How It All Started

In my growing up years, I am exposed to the notion of unconventional doctors and lawyers (流氓医生，流氓律师）who are not comfortable with the prevailing conventional norms，and unwritten rules, which are restricting real professionals to exercise their professions with real zeal and passion that they started off initially. I think that I may as well be an unconventional accountant （流氓会计) and be the first to embrace and lay claim to this name. Initially, I want to satire and challenge the current conventional norms which reward those who blindly follow them without any questioning.

But, as a Christian, I seek the more noble goal of providing my services not just to a company, but to people from all walks of life at a reasonable and affordable rate. In other words, I aim to be an accountant to the people, the general public, who may require more so than corporations LIUMANGKUAIJI (留芒会计）when translated literally means an Accountant who aims to leave peace and light in the exercising of his duties, thereby giving glory to God. The name was derived from 2 biblical verses, namely John 14 verse 27 and Matthew 5 verse 14.

John 14 verse 27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Matthew 5 verse 14: You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
